How it happened. . .
I came up with the idea for "The Sacred Eye"while traveling abroad in the Netherlands. One morning while grabbing an espresso I noticed a large gathering of people eager to look into some sort of contraption outside of a gallery. I joined the crowd to take a look, and when I peered into the viewfinder I saw a magnificent sight. . . It was my own eye but unlike id ever seen it before! I have brown eyes, which to be honest I never found to be particularly beautiful. However seeing them on this macro level they had the most intricate diamond patterns and brilliant hues of auburn. How have I went my entire life without knowing what my eyes looked like I thought!
Continuing my travels across Europe I began to notice more of these Iris Galleries, and while they all provided these precise images, they all seemed to lack the same thing. There was just not a lot of creativity or originality offered in these franchise stores. They were all cookie cutter versions of each other, which provided an underwhelming experience in my opinion. I felt that as an artist I could take this idea to the next level, so I began studying under a master French photographer to learn the secrets of macro photography. Soon after I developed my own concept for the idea and "The Sacred Eye" was born. Here we not only provide you with those precise images of your Iris, we can also transform them into custom fine art masterpieces for you and your loved ones. You'll have one on one discussions with your artist to brainstorm ideas for your art and create the most personal piece of artwork you'll ever own.
